What is FLAIR PTTRNS?

FLAIR PTTRNS is a rendering automation toolset that enables fashion brands to create high-quality photorealistic images and videos for marketing or commerce purposes . FLAIR PTTRNS accelerates the selling process and lowers product photography and videography costs while catering to sustainability.

FLAIR PTTRNS provides photorealistic visuals of products, at scale and at high speed while bypassing the manufacturing and photoshoot processes. The fashion rendering tool uses existing digital assets for design and manufacturing: CLO3D files. After the CLO garment has been uploaded, FLAIR PTTRNS generates high-quality output of the garments as packshots, flat lays, hanger shots, outfits on avatars, or as 360° videos. Our avatars can be personalised to suit your brand image (size, sex, and race) and model a variety of poses against diverse sets of backgrounds matching your brand identity.

  • FLAIR PTTRNS generates photorealistic, high-quality renders. To ensure this, we provide comprehensive instructions on our platform for preparing your CLO3D files to achieve the best results.

    Our team invests time and effort into continuous research, which allows us to develop new effects, support new materials or develop custom light setups. We work with our clients to get the right results.

    We have a quality assurance process in place that ensures every output is compared to the original. When there are inconsistencies on our end, we improve the rendering at no extra cost. If the CLO file needs changes, we will notify you and offer assistance.

  • FLAIR PTTRNS is beneficial for brands, suppliers, independent contractors, and students who work with CLO. Additionally, it can help businesses create high-quality photographs or videos of their designs for both B2B (packshots and lookbooks) and B2C purposes (e-commerce and social media content).

  • FLAIR PTTRNS ensures that client data is protected by incorporating multiple security measures to safeguard our clients’ data.

    FLAIR PTTRNS requires CLO3D files to generate photorealistic visuals. CLO3D files are stored on a single server with industry-standard security measures in place, such as encryption, 2FA authorization, access controls, separation of concerns, and regular training of our staff. FLAIR services, the APIs and the portal are all hosted on Azure. Azure offers better security measurements, like using the Azure Firewall to detect and prevent common and most used exploits.

    We are firmly committed to ensuring that client data provided to us is only used to fulfill FLAIR PTTRNS’ services that you ask us to provide to you. For administrative processing, FLAIR PTTRNS also requires company information such as email address, login information for our service, billing information, and other relevant information to fulfill our services. This information is also secured through our various security measures, in line with the GDPR.

About

  • FLAIR PTTRNS supports a variety of output formats when rendering images. When creating a template, any of the formats can be chosen. The garment can be displayed flat, on a hangar, as a packshot, a detail shot, on 360° turntables, or on a mannequin or avatar. We also work with you to develop custom avatars, poses and lighting that match your brand.

  • FLAIR PTTRNS supports different file formats as output that can be selected when creating templates. At the default setting, images are created as .png files and the videos as .mp4 files and 360° turntables. The file formats can be changed to better fit your needs.

    The background can be transparent or any colour of choice. We are also developing the opportunity to use custom 3D backgrounds.

  • FLAIR PTTRNS has standard light settings created in collaboration with fashion photographers. We are also happy to fine-tune the lighting settings during the onboarding process to better match your brand's identity. Custom light and shadow settings are possible when creating a template.

  • Yes! A single ZPAC or ZPROJ file can contain multiple colourways and we will automatically create renders for each colour separately.

Using FLAIR PTTRNS

  • The fashion rendering tool is set up during the onboarding, in three phases.

    1. We start with an introductory meeting in which we present the FLAIR PTTRNS platform and discuss your expectations. We also define the templates you will use, allowing you to select various avatars, light settings, shadows and poses. We work closely with your team to develop the correct output. To assist you in this process, the platform includes detailed step-by-step implementation documentation, and we offer additional training if needed.

    2. The following step is to test the templates and allow you to practice using the platform. We also address any questions or additional requests you may have and create the first renders using the defined templates.

    3. Finally, after you have reviewed the renders, you provide us with feedback and final notes on the templates and renders. We can continue with your projects once you are completely satisfied, and we will keep in touch on a regular basis to ensure the quality stays high.

  • For the time being, our system supports CLO3D ZPAC and ZPROJ files for uploading garments. A single file can contain multiple colourways, but we require separate ZPAC or ZPROJ files for different garments.

  • Yes! Together, we develop templates that will be used as the basis for rendering at scale. When creating the templates, you can customize the light and camera settings.

    Some of the things you can choose are the resolution, avatar, pose, margins, lights and shadows. When creating videos, you can additionally choose the ratio, duration, zoom-in features and the speed of movement.

  • The files and the renders are stored in your account on the platform with the opportunity to also sort them in collections.

  • Not currently, but we have a dedicated team working on adding new features to the platform. For further information or additional comments, please do not hesitate to contact us!

  • Yes! Our onboarding process includes training in either CLO or in using our platform. The platform also contains detailed step-by-step implementation documentation which is created to assist you in this process.

    We also work together with you to develop new materials and effects, and our team provides guides and support for implementing the new effects in your 3D process.

  • Yes! There is a contact form on the platform for any technical questions or issues, as well as the option to give feedback on specific garments. Additionally, our Customer Success Manager is always ready to hop on a call and answer any questions you might have or schedule a meeting with the team when needed.

Cost structure

  • FLAIR PTTRNS is offered as a subscription model with a monthly fee and a fee per additional render. The subscription models are based on the number and size of the files being rendered. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us!

  • Yes! We have two types of trials.

    The first option gives you access to the platform for a limited time and includes a restricted number of renders. This allows you to explore and learn more about FLAIR PTTRNS and its features. You also receive a short onboarding where we set up a template and train your team to prepare CLO3D files to achieve the best results.

    In the second option, you provide us with files and we deliver the renders at the agreed deadline. You are able to set up custom light and camera options, and the output consists of packshots (front, back, side, detail), a flatlay, a 360 video and 3 outfits on an avatar or a mannequin.

    The trial version requires garments which are either pre-simulated, or created on the Female V2 avatar.

  • The fee for our subscription is invoiced upfront and it can be paid monthly or as a one-time payment for the whole year. The fee for renders outside of the bundle is invoiced the month after. Getting started is included in the subscription.

  • Each month we will send out an invoice with the amount in euros that you can pay via bank transfer.
